Manners Obedience
Level One

Mastering basic manners and obedience is a vital part of being a responsible dog owner. These basic commands make the relationship between you and your dog much easier and can keep both of you safe in emergency situations. Just like 'looking both ways before crossing' or 'not talking to strangers'  it is important to teach our young pups things like proper leash walking, sit, stay, wait etc. to help him or her navigate in the world of humans. These common sense commands will help your dog mature and give you both the building blocks for a great relationship. For dogs 6 months and up!  Click here to register for our next class.

Therapy Dog

Therapy Dog International Certification

*Prerequiisite: Canine Good Citizenship

Therapy Dogs International (TDI®) is a volunteer organization dedicated to regulating, testing and registration of therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers for the purpose of visiting nursing homes, hospitals, and other institutions like schools or wherever else therapy dogs are needed. All dogs must be tested and evaluated by a Certified TDI Evaluator. A dog must be a minimum of one (1) year of age and have a sound temperament. Each dog must pass a TDI temperament evaluation for suitability to become a Therapy Dog. The test will also include the evaluation of the dog’s behavior around people with the use of some type of service equipment (wheelchairs, crutches, etc.). AKC CGC required as prerequisite.   Click here to register for our next class.

Reliable Recall

We absolutely believe that one of the most essential behaviors a dog should learn is a reliable recall. Recalling is a must learn because not only will you keep your sanity, but it could save your dog's life...because it has already saved others! Your dog will appreciate the confidence you instill in him/her by being the leader you can and should be. Mastering this skill leads to fuller and freer lives for you and your dog!.  Click here to register for our next class.

Rover Reactive

Is your dog 'driving' you crazy? Does your dog bark, growl, or lunge when they see other dogs or animals or even if they come within view? On a walk, do you like being an anchor, doing everything you can just to stay on your two feet? Then our Rover Reactive class is just what you and your dog need.

We'll teach you great techniques that will keep your dog calm and focused around other dogs or other distractions. You'll also learn how to 'read' your dog's body language and will probably be surprised to see what you are telling your dog through your own body language! Come on and join our next class and learn how not to live in the Rover Reactive world!

Loose Leash Walking

A walk in the park should be...well, a walk in the park! Right? How can a full grown adult not be able to control precious little Lola, a 10lb chihuahua from pulling, barking wildly and even lunging at dogs 10 times her size? Sounds crazy huh?...unless Lola is at the end of YOUR leash! Join our class to learn some simple techniques that will definitely make your next time out a real walk in the park! This class would be great for young dogs and especially for puppies that have completed the S.T.A.R. Puppy Program.      Click here to register for our next class.

Take a Hike!

Our Take a Hike class does a number of things for your dog and you. First we get to explore 4 different Rochester area parks and encounter lots of distractions while enjoying the creation around us. This class gives us the opportunity to get in a little aerobic exercise and provide your dog some of the natural stimuli from their ancestral roots. The sounds, smells and natural activity within a pack work together all the while helping you build that stronger bond with your pet. Come out with us and "take a hike"!

What...Little Princess is inexplicably afraid of loud noises, strangers, sudden movements, unfamiliar places, and other things that seem harmless?
